藝術家自述 Artist's statement｜
很多人喜歡畫圖，喜歡畫圖是好事。但從事畫畫的工作是辛苦的事，尤其是在藝術世界。
如果要我選擇，我最想成為運動員，再來才是創作者。對我來說，那都是戰場，都是挑戰，而且是前仆後繼地挑戰。一直以來，我要做的是，把自己的姿態放到作品裡。雖然創作是一個個人行為，不過，對我來說，與繪畫的戰鬥並不只是在工作室內，也在工作室外；要面對的不只是當下的感覺，還要逃離許多堆積在畫布上、在腦袋中的舊資料，希望能夠在當下看到屬於未來的某片風景。
Many people like to draw pictures, and it is a good thing to like drawing pictures. But painting is hard work, especially in the art world.
If I had to choose, I would most like to be an athlete, and then a creator. For me, they are all battlefields and challenges, and they are challenges one after another. What I have always wanted to do is to put my own attitude into my works. Although creation is a personal act, for me, the battle with painting is not only inside the studio, but also outside the studio; I have to face not only the current feeling, but also to escape from the many things piled up on the canvas. The old information in my head hopes to be able to see a certain scenery of the future in the present.
