作品以與城市共生為主要理念，與元城建設合作，邀請藝術家賴彥勳創作，以銅鍛敲枝幹、用油脂模擬木質氣息，再將結構固定於建築之中，從「植物」出發，把原本屬於自然的生長，轉化為人為介入的風景想像，詮釋「一棵不存在的樹」。
在這裡，建築不只是建築，而像是與生命對話的容器。作品在虛實之間穿梭，在存在與消逝的縫隙裡，留下關於時間、材料與生命狀態的詩意提問。
The artwork is conceived around the idea of coexistence with the city, developed through a collaboration with Yuan Cheng Development and created by artist Lai Yan-Hsun. Copper is hammered to form branching structures, while wax is applied to evoke the tactile and olfactory qualities of wood. The structure is then integrated into the architecture itself.
Beginning with the notion of a “plant,” the work transforms what originally belongs to the realm of natural growth into a landscape shaped through human intervention, interpreting the image of “a tree that does not exist.”
In this context, architecture becomes more than a functional structure; it acts as a vessel that holds a dialogue with life. The work moves between the real and the imagined, leaving within the interstice of presence and disappearance a poetic reflection on time, material, and the conditions of living.
